The Dallas Arboretum Rodriguez Gazebo + Rosine Hall

Lauren and Rob had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Arboretum followed by a fabulous party at Rosine Hall. It is one of favorite venues and Lauren's wedding didn't disappoint. We were pleased to get to do the flowers for this bride. Here style was fun and ecletic (our fav). We got to play with bright colors and beautiful textures...so FUN! Laura and Ryan were a precious couple that have dated for forever! It was definitely time for their wedding. We loved being a part of the day of their wedding and getting to do their flowers. Her color palette was pink and gray. We mixed platinum gray linens with soft touches of pink and ivory flowers. It turned out beautiful an surprisingly accented the walls of Old Red very well.

We've been chosen!

For those of you who have never heard of Style Me Pretty, you are missing out. It is only the premier wedding blog in the entire industry. I look at it everyday to see what other vendors are doing and to get inspiration for colors, flowers and overall wedding details.

The exciting part is that we have been chosen by the owner, Abby Larson, to join their exclusive Little Black Book of vendors. We are listed under Floral and Event Design for Dallas/Fort Worth. We are super pumped to be a part of this elite group of wedding industry!

Ryan was a GREAT bride. She was so on top of everything throughout the entire planning process. She knew what she wanted, and she had fabulous style. It was a joy helping her plan her beautiful spring wedding. We loved doing her flowers and she even let us design her programs, menus, escort cards and other small details. We LOVE when we get to create a whole look for a wedding. It was beautiful and we are so thankful to have been a part. (PS. She had the most amazing wedding gown too...one of our favorites!)

We've been published!

Two exciting things happenned while we were on vacation.

First, one of the wedding that we did floral design for (Holly + Nathan) was featured on Style Me Pretty.

Second, I got my newest addition of D Weddings and got to finally view the Real Weddings article on Leslie + Drew. She was one of our brides last fall. We planned her wedding and did the floral design. Exciting!!

Weddings: Ashley + Brian
The Dallas Arboretum Camp House

Ashley's wedding was the first weekend in May, which was the weekend of torrential rain downpouring in Dallas. Needless to say, her garden wedding got moved inside. :( Lucky for her, it was moved into the beautiful Camp House where her reception was going to be held. The ceremony turned out wonderful, and Ashley and Brian had the best attitudes throughout the entire day.

We were blessed to help with the floral design and the "day of" wedding coordination for this event. Check out these great shots from Andrea Polito Photography:

Weddings: Blaire + Zack
The Four Seasons

Blaire had a gorgeous, simple morning wedding at the Four Seasons followed by a great brunch. We were delighted to be able to do the floral design for her wedding. Her style was for everything to be if it was straight out of a garden. I think we accomplished this using hydrangea, dahlias, scabiosa, calla lilies and peonies.

Out of Office!

The A Stylish Soiree offices will be completely closed starting June 18, 2009 and returning on June 29, 2009. We are taking off a little time to gear up for a busy fall wedding season and spend some much needed time with family.

Johnson Color Garden + Rosine Hall

We have been working so much at the Dallas Arboretum lately, and we are so thankful. It is by far one of our favorite Dallas venues. It is not only beautiful, but the staff is wonderful to work with.

We got the opportunity to do the floral decor and help Amanda plan her beautiful outdoor wedding. She chose bright, vibrant colors of fuschia, purple, and blue. The colors looked beautiful against the natural landscape at the Arboretum. Her wedding turned out amazing.
