Weddings: Holly + Nathan
Bride's Parent's Home in McKinney, TX

Oh...poor, Holly. What do you do when you plan your outdoor wedding on the rainiest day of the spring season (and I don't just mean rainy; I mean torrential downpouring)? Most brides would cry, curse, and drudgingly move everything inside. But, Holly was a true trooper. She went with the flow and managed to have a successful wedding despite the oodles of mud, crashing lightning, and humid weather. It was a night her guests will never forget, and we were so lucky to be able to do the floral and decor for this event.

It was all in the amazing details that were a collaborative effort between us, the bride, and her coordinator,
Emily Youngblood. These beautiful pictures can be credited to her OUTSTANDING photography, Kate Medford with Juxtapose Photography.

We are nominated!!

One of our lovely former brides nominated us for WFAA's (Channel 8) A List. The contest ends July 2nd, and we want to win!! Please go to the link below to vote:

Parties and Fun: The Wedding Party Studio
Grand Opening
The Wedding Party Studio, IV Lounge,
State and Allen, and Lotus

We got the opportunity to design and do the decor the the grand opening party for
The Wedding Party Studio. It turned out great, and we had a lot of fun. It was a progressive party hopping down Allen St. in Uptown to some of its greatest hot spots. We loved coming up with the details for this party including the pinwheel drink stirs, fun conversation buttons, and custom pillows. Thanks to our fabulous friends in the biz that helped out:

Beaux Arts Photography
Cuca Lu Cakes and Cruffles
Pic Flips

Weddings: Adrienne + Jason
Private Home in Greenway Parks

We recently got to help plan and do the floral and event design for the wedding of Adrienne and Jason. They were a fabulously quirky couple who works out in the Film/Music industry in LA. But for Adrienne, Dallas is home and that is what brought them here to have this dream wedding. We could not have asked for a better bride and groom, better family and friends, or a better team of vendors for this stunning event. Hats off to the following:

Tent, Rentals, Lighting & Lucite Dance Floor:
Livewire Special Events
Photographer: Allison Smith
Caterer:
Javier's
Molten Chocolate Cakes:
Tart Pastry Boutique
Music: Lisa Loeb with members of the
Polyphonic Spree Choir and Booker T. Washington students
DJ: Lucy Wrubel

We got to participate in the Grand Opening for a fabulous new event venue called
Studios 1019. We did the decor for some of the tables. We were glad to get to showcase some of our floral designs.
